Hi Everyone,

i am a serious follower of this forum from a distance. This is a great source for people who are interested in migrating and dreaming of a new life in hopefully a new country.
Hats off to every single person who has put time and effort to start, reply, follow encourage fellow forum members.

I just wanted to post my scenario here and I do hope everyone gets what they dream for and where ever they stay, they are happy and content.

I am a 30th May applicant, got my CC charge on the 16th sep, waiting for PER e-mail. I am an australian citizen, had some family in Canada so moved here on a work permit and decided to apply for PR as my occupation was in the list for 2014/15. I have a family, everything is going good but since we have moved from Australia, Canada just doesn't feel like home. There is something missing and both me and my wife don't know what it is.

We are seriously considering going back to Australia.

Enough of our story. The only reason i wanted to add my post on this forum was to give hope to people whose file have been rejected, cap got filled or will be filled by the time they get their application submitted.

Australia is another beautiful country which also offer skilled migration. I am sure most of you would have already done research on Australia, but if you have any skilled migration related questions to Australia i can try and help. I am in no way an expert but i can try and help and if it makes someones dream a reality.

Thanks for your input!! I was actually considering both Australia and Canada but decided on Canada for now mainly due to two reasons. First is that I live in the US, so Canada will be more of a home to me. The second is the cheaper application fees. But I am envious of Australian way of life, so may be I will consider it if Canada doesn't work out.

Good Evening everybody...MR Update..


By grace of Almighty Allah.. Here I am sharing the good news that I received the MR, PCC and RPRF email today...

I got the email in the morning only and I checked it on my phone but could not update the forum...

I am 8th May applicant for 2171 and my PER was received on 12 Aug. As per my calculation I was expecting the MR email by end of next week but sooner is offcourse better... As everybody knows here the value of waiting time..

I need to submit above by 02 Nov 2014 i.e. 45 days from now... Offcourse I will not wait till November.. Inshallah I will go for MR and Indian PCC next week.. My US PCC should also reach to me by end of this month.. I called them Today (1 Hour ago) and they said it is under process and I can call them to check the status on 26th September.. Please note that my form for US PCC reached on 26th Aug and my Fee was charged on 17th September...So.. I guess I am on time for all of these inshallah...

Since last couple of days I was praying that I should not get my second line updated in online ECAS system because I have observed that whoever is getting that updated is waiting for few more days to get the MR email...

Hi seniors,

I have done BCom from bangalore university in 1992 and have somehow lost my 2 years of marksheets (i have only my first years mark sheet with me)i approached the university for transcripts and was told i need to provide copies of all 3 marksheets as they cannot give copies from the university record as all old records are in ledgers and they are under lock n key and cannot be accessed by anyone,they said they can sign my WES academic request form and sign and stamp on the degree certificate copy only.......i am sure that is not acceptable in WES (CIC) for ECA as i understand they need all 3 years mark sheets..ive almost lost hope of getting this sorted as i d not see any way out of this,but i dinot want to yet give up on this, any help/suggestions is appreciated.

Of course there has to be a way out to get the duplicate copy of it. I too lost it. Just have to give a written application along with a copy of FIR to the university. They charged me for the duplicate copies and gave it to me in 2 weeks time.

ASLK and HAI to ALL. Iam very excited to to share that I received my MR PCC and RPRF email from NDVO today morning.

I have a knowledge of PCC and MEDICAL but Iam completely blind when it comes to RPRF. How should I pay the fees I don't have a credit card.

Can I pay through Demand Draft if Yes the payment should be in INR or CAD $.

And the Demand Draft should be in whose favour. Please help me.

After encashement, 1st line updated. 2nd Line is updated when VO starts processing.

I think, there is separate division who centrally update ECAS - I may be wrong.

after receiving per......the ecas is updated by cio or vo? like the 1st line and then the 2nd and so on......who updates it?

I need help, I planing to get married, and update my status in are local visa center. currently, I already have PER, will it affect my application and will it take a year to process my application? any Idea what to do? or should I go for sponsorship which will take long? you help will be appreciated.

im confused about what my consultant is saying now, coz he advised us today that our file has been transferred to the Local visa office... but we haven't received our PER yet.... also he advised that all our emails which was sent by CIC has been sent to the LVO?? can this happen??

application date 22nd may noc 2174....

need some expert advised on this...

as we seem to be going no where with this...

After you have sent Medicals, The RMO (Regional Medical Office) will assess your results and determine if any further tests are required. You should have a "Medicals Received" update in your ecas after this step.

Simultaneously, you would now be placed in background clearance, i.e. they check against your name if you are wanted for any crime internationally or indulged in anything that can pose a danger to Canadian security. This check is run on some international crime database, I think.

I have a firm belief you have will cross this hurdle for sure

HI Dear, Thanks for your response , I received Medical Received status on "2ndSep.,2014" after almost 1 month 6 days after I submitted my medical.Also , I received my GCMS notes which was generated on 20th Aug.,2014 and it shows they received my medical receipts on 28th July,2014. Anyways as I got my medical received status udpated in ECAS, I am not that worried about it.

But now my worry is my visa office is CPC-Ottawa and I did not notice any move from this office these days. As the GCMS notes was generated a month back , it was showing criminality inprogress.

Does anyone has an idea how much time will it take to finish that criminality check?

Just wanted to know, as I am planning to leave country by and of this month for 2-3 months and I will be in India for that time. In case I received PPR while I am India , is that okay if I submit passport to CPC-Ottawa from India? or it has to sent from my address mentioned on application. Also, if I submit passport from my India address , are they able to return back to India while my address on application is Canada Address.


Please guide me with your inputs on this.

I don't think including your wife at this stage will affect much. Sponsoring wife takes years. So include your spouse now.

Just register yourself for PCC and you will have it on your email ID with Digital Signatures, exclusively for Immigration purpose.

Why don't you try applying for duplicate copy of mark sheets from university. It will take some time sure but if your NOC is cold you still have quite some time to apply.
