YES, TC will be valid, just check the DD validity if not mentioned 3 months, generally all international DD are 6 months validity,
let u aware this in advance as u might come for another Ques....

As proof of funds, I have attached all the latest months statements which mentions the Balance as on date which is equal to the amount required.

I didn't send any 6 months statement.

Dnt worry...if need vo will ask to send 6 mnth bank statements

Our consultant has asked us to put my husband (principal applicant) name as applicant in both the forms and ofcourse the details that follow would be different.. I do not know if he is right or wrong..

That is not what I did, and it doesnt sound logical, but here is what I suggest: Follow your consultants instructions, but put one of those narrow colourful stickies, denoting that this is the spousal 5406. Else, how will CIC know which form belongs to the primary and which to the spouse.

Hi,

I was a little bit confuse at form IMM 5406 " ADDITIONAL FAMILY INFORMATION" about the 1st two rows at the top. 1st row "Principal applicant" 2nd row " spouse or common law partner.

ex. if fill the form me - applicant (1st row)
abc - my spouse name. (2nd row)

how about when my spouse will fill the form it will be the same as (me-applicant; abc- spouse row) or reverse? it will only differ from "Mother's row upto the bottom"

Hope somebody understand my querry.

Thank you for all the advise, but it seems like, some were saying reverse and some are saying just the same for "applicant row and spouse row". i was a little bit more confuse.

Palak, you have given him another point to think "just check the DD validity if not mentioned 3 months, generally all international DD are 6 months validity", actually all internationally drawn DD's are with 6months validity.. No need to check on that Mr. Screwdriver 8) :-* ;D

Guys!! just rechecked and my Application was received on 20th May by C Mac Donald and not on 21st May (not sure why I remembered this Date!).

Now let me know if still have any hope ? i was worried for 21st May itself but now its 20th may !!! please let me know if there are other guys here too who have not been charged yet on CC and have not even received any kind of communication !! Or I am alone here?

Also, as I am sure I will be falling in the cap for 1112, it is for sure that i will get some or the other email from them ? yeah?

May be his consultant needs to go through IELTS reading exam so as to understand what the form says on the top clearly..

Hope the information below helps someone!!

I called British council (India) sometime back to inquire about duplicate IELTS report. They said they will issue additional report in following two cases :

1. Lost. File an FIR and request for Non Traceable letter from Police. Submit passport copy, FIR copy, NTL and scanned test result form. Then, they will issue second copy of test result to us.
2. If proved that the original test result has been submitted to CIC. (I do not know how we could prove if our application has not been reviewed yet)

When filling out the additional information form, your spouse is the applicant and you are the spouse, do not make the mistake to put yourself as the applicant as is her family information on the form. Sometimes es you have to use common sense.

Do not leave anything blank....this will cause your application being returned.
