I had filled up 2 form one for me and other for my wife i just want to be clear that if the name of institution remain same but her and my studing city differs then if any problem arise or not ???? Not a problem.

and also one more question bro its final one .i had done ACCA and CA .i had done ACCA from UK in education i wrote ACCA and in city i wrote London .for this i wrote cover letter stating that i can write exam from my city and i had not been to london . is it fine brother ?? I would suggest you clarify this on a cover letter just so that there are no grounds for the VO to consider this as a misrep (if at all).

In fact one of my friend, who have recently landed there in Canada has got job in Scotia Bank as Financial Advisor and as per his words....

this is really good facility offered for anyone who dont want to carry money during his journey and while landing in Canada..

anyways he can open this account with scotia bank here in his Home Country (read India), while his passports are stamped with Maple Leaves... then he can deposit money in his Scotia Account here in India and then he can surely access those amount in CAD there from Scotia Bank Canada Branch.

All you need to do while landing in Canada is to carry the bank statement mentioning that you have xxx amount of Money in Scotia bank account.

I have certain queries on the proof of funds and birth certificate as under:

1. I got married 6 months ago and am the primary applicant for immigration. Most of the available funds we have are currently in my husbands name, can we still use them as-is for proof of funds or we need to move them to a joint account in both our names?
2. We have mutual funds in addition to money in the bank, are investments like mutual funds acceptable as proof of funds?
3. My husband who will be a secondary applicant on my application does not have his birth certificate, he does however have his school leaving certificate and passport that show his date of birth. Is that sufficient documentation or what other documentation can we use in lieu of birth certificate?

Please help me with your earliest suggestions....thanks in anticipation.....

My wife having qualification is BSC medical, B.ED, and MA English

She is working in kindergarten from last nine years.

My query is as she doesn't have certificate or eduction is child development or earlier childhood trainer can she be eligible of NOC 4214.

Duties all match with her profile

Your spouse's account is fine. You could get a joint account if you want.
2. We have mutual funds in addition to money in the bank, are investments like mutual funds acceptable as proof of funds? Normally yes. Unless the document that you provide for your MFs have some sort of binding or lock-in period which is a little too much: say 5 years. But you can liquidate it early (on surrender charges) so that should be okay.
3. My husband who will be a secondary applicant on my application does not have his birth certificate, he does however have his school leaving certificate and passport that show his date of birth. Is that sufficient documentation or what other documentation can we use in lieu of birth certificate? You have to get your Husband to prepare a sworn affidavit mentioning his DOB and Parents name as in the SSC Cert. PP is not recognized by CIC as proof of birth.

Please help me with your earliest suggestions....thanks in anticipation.....

You can show settlement funds either of principal applicant account/spouse account/joint account

You can show sec school certificate if it has
Applicant name
Dob
Parents name

And/or affidavit as a proof of birth ....

I've seen some Qs & As in this forum regarding the National ID. Some replies were like that I have to provide this information if I have it, right? And, there is one problem with the expiry date (Mine one has no expiry date). I have seen in replies that we can keep it blank. What if I keep it blank and after printing write there "N/A"?

2. Visa Office:
I'm a Bangladeshi Citizen and currently working and residing in Maldives. Should I select "Colombo" as VO or "Singapore"?
