Hi all..new to this forum and FSW process... i have a quick query. I hav applied under NOC 1112, my application should reach CIC by tomorrow. Is there any hope fr me under this NOC or shuld I strt thinking abt 2015 express entry (points r enough ~77 but i guess that is irrelevant). Wuld be helpful if seniors could comment on this.

No one knows. It is a relatively hot NOC. But keep your hopes alive.

I have come across some forum members saying that one should send certified copies of the refrence letter and the appointment contract,........

What is meant by certified? I think simple copies of those douments will be sufficient, correct me if the copies of the abovementioned documents need

to be certified? and in case certifying is a must, who is entitled to certify the authenticity of work experience documents?

The reference letter - if its on a Company Letterhead and signed by the HR and/or your Superior, is certified enough. You don't certify something that is already certified.

Notary comes into picture only when affidavit's or letters which are not directly provided by your Organization (on a company letterhead) are involved.

You only need to mention third country travels. In your case no travel between India and Maldives has to be mentioned.
FYI: Some people mentioned all travels including one between country of origin and residence thinking it wont harm their application.
P.S: I didnt mention travel made between country of residence and origin.

do we have to attach copy of only first page of passport or signature page as well

If you have not submitted the app - remove the info as it is not required.

If you have submitted then no issues. You have given them more to read than they need.

No not offended at all...wasnt taking it that seriously...but HOPE u r not riding high if newbies r asking fr guidance and dont assume urself a priest that is providing reassurance services. Was only looking fr some idea frm experienced people.. CIC Cap Status link provided by cjg1987 was very helpful i guess that gives me some idea how fast this category is filling up...anyway do try James Wan movies that might work as well, tarantino might be just too soft in comparison.
