Need your help on WES. Today I checked my status, it is appearing as complete. However they are showing ONLY my Master Degree only. Total 3 education degrees were sent by me. Master's, Bachelor's and Diploma.

Not sure if only WES will show only Master degree (Last Education) or should have shown all education equivalence. What should be my next step?
can i apply with this report to CIC?

Thanks!!

REGARDING REGISTRATION OF MARRIAGE

I have not been able to locate the original post but there is a forum member who is facing difficulty in getting her marriage registered as her in laws are not cooperating. I too went through something similar so here is what I understood from my struggle 2 years ago!

1. If you have "already married" or have been married for a some time, the the Special Marriages Act applies to you (Different from Hindu Marriages Act). (Google it! Download the act, read it, then read it again, highlight relevant clauses)

2. The "normal" process of marriage registration where they ask for a wedding invitation card, photos, parents et al are applicable if the marriage was held "under normal circumstances"..... Both parents agreed, invitations were sent, a big fat Indian wedding took place and there are a thousant photos of the memorable day if you are a Sikh and evening if you are a Hindu. ALL THAT IS IRRELEVANT HERE!

2. You can apply for a marriage certificate under the Special Marriages Act anywhere in India provided you have been staying there for at least one month. Other wise you can apply to the sub registrar of the city or town where you guys got married. Please note, IT IS NOT COMPULSORY THAT YOUR MARRIAGE CAN BE REGISTERED ONLY IN THE CITY IT WAS SOLEMNIZED IN. Staff at the registrar office will try to refuse, you have to go prepared with your application and also printouts of the act with relevant clauses highlighted. This act is seldom used and most clerks sitting will not bother to cross check before refusing.

3. There is an application format, fill it and after a month you will have to turn up with a couple of witnesses. The witnesses and you have to have your address proofs ready. It will be done and after a few days you can collect it from the Sub Registrar's office.

All this said, you will note that this will still take time. If it is not a problem, it will be simpler to apply for a court marriage! Wouldn't it be thrilling to marry again??!!???

Yes, this is in order, WES will automatically evaluate your highest educational qualification as the lower ones are stepping stones to the highest one so need to evaluate them. Your points from the evaluation of the master's supersedes the others so it's okay to use the report. Good luck to you :)

No offense but I don't agree with what you are saying. Its is not harmful to mention it on Travel form but it better not to as CIC has specifically mentioned it. I am in Canada right now, and my home country is India. So I don't have to mention any travels made between those two countries because my country of residence is Canada and country of origin is India. There must be some reason that CIC has specifically asked not to mention travel between those two countries (p.s. one reason might be they can check in that record when did you leave that country and when you came back as your application will be transferred & processed at local VO). Did you ever think that you might not be helping them by doing what they specifically mentioned not to do. :)
Goku... The guide clearly states:

List all trips you have taken outside your country of origin or of residence in the last ten years (or since your 18th birthday if this was less than ten years ago). Include all trips: tourism, business, training, etc.

Outside your country of origin means ALL TRIPS YOU HAVE TAKEN which involves LEAVING your country of residence or country of origin and ENTERING again.

'Outside' is not the same thing as 'excluding' or 'apart from'.

Be guided by The Guide :p

Hi seniors! Based on statistics, what are the chances (in percentage) that my application will be rejected once PER was already issued? Thank you! ;)

Hi jpn, My take on this one (although knowing from here and say in the forum that certain members have received charge on their debit card, and having used debit card in lieu of credit card in the past when I was in USA) is whoever used a debit card does that entirely at their risk, because CIC clearly does not mention debit card as a source of fee payment. There are many alternatives CIC provides for fee payment like CC, DD, certified cheque, money order and even mentions to visit website of visa office in one's region to download fee payment form and for payment instructions. So for me debit card is no where the suggested way by CIC, who ever chooses this option does it entirely at their own risk.
I agree with Oscar, they (CIC) have already mentioned every possible options for payment, an additional Debit Card word does not take much space in the form why dont they just include it if it is officially accepted. But like i said before it is entirely up to individual. Not to create panic or anything else, just for those who are about to submit their app to choose a better way. For those who have sent their app already, nothing to worry.

Hi all, As far as I read posts here, I understand that CIC has only opened applications received till May 8th 2014, and the number of complete applications in that is mentioned in the www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/complete-applications.asp (for NOC 2174 its is 129). So, the projection for 2174 NOC would be if 129 applications are complete as of May 8th, the cap of 1000 may be filled if they open applications received till probably July. Is my understanding correct?
Nobody knows the "as-of" date on that page, and nobody knows when the cap will be filled. 2174 is the hottest NOC, I suggest you apply ASAP.

What?? Please go through my comment again. I said my country of residence is Canada. My country of origin(for which I hold citizenship) is India. No If I take any trips out side this 2 countries then I have to list it on travel form. So what I mean by that is if I went to States then I have to mention it only that trip. No trips between India or Canada has to be mentioned on that form as they are my country of origin and residence. If I didn't travel outside Canada or India then I just have to check that box on top right corner known as "DID NOT TRAVEL". Now let me tell you something, I have also applied under other program for PR did same and haven't got any question yet, I also Called CIC for that when I submitted my previous application, and I also have few people who got PR and did the same. Now if you want me to be guided by guide then I think it not me who should be doing that. :)

Hi Bro,

I took the medical and the physician is listed in the medical and waiting for my FBI clearance.. Please read the link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/medical/medexams-perm.asp, the physician will directly send the report to CIC. We do not need to send them anything and the doctor did not provide me anything except the receipt. They took my picture and told me when they would get my report they would electronically submit to CIC. I think you are getting it mixed with the family class applicants( up front medical examination)where they have to attach the documents with the applications.

Cheers !!
Thanks for sharing the information. How much did your doctor charge for a medical exam?

What did you do with the Medical Report form (IMM 1017E)? Did you paste your recent photograph and handover to the doctor? Don't we need to include this in our package?
