::For NOC Code 2132::

Fee enchased as per our forum spreadsheet: 3

Number of complete applications counted (updated 06-06-2014 as per CIC): 8

Estimated % of total world wide applications: 37.5%

Balance application received by CIC before mine (as per our forum spreadsheet): 49

Estimated application received by CIC before mine (@ 37.5% estimation for applications rcvd by 26.05.2014): 131

Seems I will make it in time for NOC Code 2132 ;D (not considering the estimated acceptance ratio).

Wish everyone good luck

Here is my observation regarding the list CIC has issued today:

There is especially one key NOC code which can help us determine the cut-off date of the updated NOC list.
Take a look at the 3012 for example;
There are 2 PERs in the forum spreadsheet whereas the CIC list shows only one.
Even if we take for granted the only 3012 application in the CIC list is a canadavisa.com member, this alone puts the "LATEST" possible cut-off date of the CIC list to either
a) 1st of May - if they are taking the received stamp date into consideration (and absolutely not the 2nd of May)
b) Between 23rd of May - 27th of May if they are considering the fee charge date
c) Between 30th of May - 5th of June if they are considering the PER sent date
This analysis based on this NOC alone is sufficient to say one thing for sure; the CIC list is absolutely back dated (an old list)

I believe, for any logical project management task the finalization date of any step of the project "is the approval date" (CC charge) and not the "announcement date" (PER email).

So even if we assume that the only person approved under NOC 3012 in the CIC list is one of our forum members, that puts the date of the list either to 1st of May or to between 23rd and 27th of May.
The "as of" statement (despite the wrong date) means -at least in the business norms- the "approved" number of applications as of that date.

So, according to the above reasoning the CIC list reflects the number of approved complete applications as of, some date between 1st and 27th of May, which is still a huge gap.
But this reasoning shows us one more equally important fact; it is completely meaningless to drive some ratios by comparing the current forum spreadsheet and the CIC list.

BTW, this was my first post on this forum, so, hello and good luck to all fellow future Canadians :)

Edit: I've sent an e-mail to CIC asking them to fix the "as of" date to reflect the actual and correct date.

Any May 7th application should be safe as long as they fit the guidelines.

Briefly: The CAP for some NOCS may as well be filled even though there aren't any applicants for them ;)

Hi Guys!

Please HELP!!! I ve sent my application a week ago, it is already in CIC - NOC 1111. I work in PwC, because of the bureaucracy of a big firm i could not receive a letter stating all of my responsibilities, but i have included a letter of circumstance, together with he contract and the letter confirming the period of employment. Do you think the fact that there was no letter from employer conforming responsibilities is vital, as pwC is well know worldwide.

If this is critical do you think the application will be returned or just they will ask to provide additional information?

Also, when CIC changes your credit card, does it mean they have started review, or what?

Thank you!!

You are interpreting the information wrongly. There are 50 eligible NOC titles, and under any one of those 50 titles, CIC will accept 1,000 applications maximum. The 1,000 is the subcap.
Then this 50*1000=50,000. So why the total cap is only 25,000???

Just about to finish up generic application. At the last part of it, should I type my name (option is available), or I need to sign it after print. One more thing, where to attach picture in the form?

As always, Thanks for your help.

Thats why there is a possibility of some NOCs reaching the CAP even without any applications ;)

Mine application is on 8th may 2014. Any 7th & 8th CC/DD cleared? No Update in sheet after 6th. Panic by seeing sheet is not updated after 6th.
