I agree, but I don't want to end up working towards a dead-end either.

I could only understand some of the jargon though.

BC : Birth Certi.
PCC : Police Clearance Certificate (16-18 weeks), but not necessary to be submitted with application,yes, u r right but need so long?
POF : Proof of Fund
Passport : ? (I already got it) r u single?
ECA : Education Assessment (4-6 weeks) right

You must be aware of the spreadsheet that shows the current status of FSWP 2014. Is that maintained by Canadian govt. ? Or is based on voluntary entries by forum members. Just making sure.

Child 2.5 yrs don't have citizenship certificate but have passport n minor identity doc. Can I use citizen as His status in country or do I have to select other and write minor? His passport indicates nationality as Nepalese though

last year NOC 2147 which is similar to 2171 was filled out in 5th of July. So most of applicants within that NOC applied within 2171 and 2281 this year I believe.

I can assume (but of course no guarantee) that you have time till the beginning of July (could be even August) as this year cap is 1000.

and I think you already don't have any chance with 2173 this year.

I have sent my application in June last year but was returned due to full cap. I am sending another app for NOC 1111 tom and should reach CIO on the 3rd June with my new IELTS.

I hope that i am in time for NOC 1111. Seniors do you think i will be within cap?

As compared to last year 2013 , now its 1000 per NOC, so it will take longer to fill this time, unless CIC shows it reached that quota , its open game, may be two months for 2171 and 2173, so please send yours app. as soon as possible. Best of Luck.

Did you old IELTS report expired BEFORE or AFTER the date it reached CIO ? If it expired AFTER that date, I think you should be ok because they compare the Expiry of IELTS report against the date your application was arrived.

In the other case, your application could be returned due to IELTS expiry, then your new application COULD be accepted. This is my personal opinion. Seniors would give you better advise. Good luck, bro.
