Today I received my ref letter from my ex employer.They used company letterhead and original signature but scanned it and emailed me... Is it a valid ref letter? Plz reply

1. Me:
B.E : Telecommunications Engineer
Exp: 10+ in IT (Datawarehousing)
Age 31
IELTS: 7+ in all

2. Wife:
B.E Information Science
Exp: 7 (Java/J2EE)
Age 28
IELTS 6.5+ in all.

Are we eligible? I am thinking of making my wife Primary. Would this be ok for 2174 code? We have reference letters stating roles/responsibilities. Planning to go for ECA now, Will we have sufficient time to apply before the cap ends? Please suggest/help.

Guys!

I have a very important question since this will be the basis of my application.

I have worked in following areas:

- Accounting, bookkeeping.
- Taxation
- Accounting systems development
- Payrolls

My wife was a remittances officer in a bank for 4 years. Since people are saying FINANCIAL AUDITORS AND ACCOUNTANTS category fills up really quick, I was thinking maybe my wife could fall in to the category of 1114 - Other financial officers and this category may not fill up so soon.

I could have her as the principal applicant.

Any advice here?

I have a degree of Civil Engineering but since 4 years I am working as a Software ( in SAP) Engineer in different MNCs. I have calculated my points and they are well enough to qualify, but I have a doubt that in case I am applying in 2173 category I have a education mismatch. I have my ECA and IELTS ready.

Please if you could clear my doubt if it is okay to apply in 2173 category with degree of Civil engineering.

still i cant see any changes in cic forms... i have planned to fill it today but i guess its better to wait for another 2 days to avoid re-work as it may change on 30th.

Any idea if the NOC2241 "Electrical and electronics engineering technologists and technicians" is hot or not. i.e. does it get filled up very quickly?
I need to still give my IELTS, dont know if I get the cap if I apply by June end.

Alternatives to birth certificate are as follows in CIC's own words

We do accept Secondary school records that contain the following :

Applicant's Name
Date of Birth
Name of Parent/Parents

If you are not able to provide a Birth certificate with all 3 criteria, we require an affidavit stating all of this information or that a Birth certificate cannot be attained.

So 10th standard school certificate or an affidavit containing applicants name, date of birth and Parent/Parents name should be fine in lieu of a birth certificate. Also you must give reason in a cover letter why you were not able to provide birth certificate and that you are providing 10th standard school certificate / affidavit in lieu of birth certificate.

Please provide the reference of sources of these wordings from CIC.......

Brother there is no relation has stated anywhere tht education and exprnce need to be matched ...

But in this cases, job letters/docs should be strong...U can do that by below...

So dont worry u can proceed without tension...

Work experience requirement:


1. Job duties on Company Letter head.
2. Full time /Working hour should be mentioned.
3. Company's seal if applicable

Additional:

5. Appointment/contract letter
6. Payslip (3 months will be enough)
7. Business card of applicant and referee (reference letter's).

Hi,

Regarding Financial Documents:

Do you need to show the money in your own savings account. For eg, if the money is in my fater in laws account who wishes to sponser us for canada is that acceptable to show his statement with some affidavit.

I also have 2 properties in India in my name, which I intend to sell if we get through the FSW, can this be used to show for the Financial criteria?
The properties have been evaluated by a Goverment certified evaluator.

Yes u are eligible and u can match/find out under which noc u can be eligible...

And if u apply for WES...i m sure u can catch the CAP...
In that case i will suggest u to select express courier (100 CAD more) to get the report earlier...
