the origional question asked was which NOC was more close to testing profile.. 2171 oe 2174.
2171 is for analyst and consultants so it is ruled out.
Now talking about 2174 , here are few duties performed by 2174 professional :


Write, modify, integrate and test software code

Identify and communicate technical problems, processes and solutions

I am also from a software profile.
Software tester does the following duties and it can be elaborated. SO i see some reason why that guy can apply in this year regardless of the designation.

Yogi ...how 2174 applicable to software tester ...can you explain ?

U dont need to add tax docs...

Just ensure if the below docs are available....
That will be enough...

Work experience requirement:


1. Job duties on Company Letter head.
2. Full time /Working hour should be mentioned.
3. Company's seal if applicable

Additional:

5. Appointment/contract letter
6. Payslip (3 months will be enough)
7. Business card of applicant and referee (reference letter's).

Although it's not mentioned anywhere that we need to attach them, what's also not mentioned anywhere that attaching them would harm your application. So go ahead and include them.

The question is does her spouse also need to fill Schedule A - Background Declaration and the Additional Family information forms as well or only her? The form says that it need to be separately filled by spouse and dependents but we are not sure if they need to fill even if they are not a part of the application?

2. SCHEDULE 3 ECONOMIC CLASSES form: What do we have to fill in section 11 where it asks about Assets, Liabilities and settlement funds?

Hi, yes they must fill, even if they are not accompanying her. For future possible sponsorship possibilities.

Settlement fund available as liquid money. Assets will be your immovable. Liabilities will be like loans, mortage etc.

Because lot of people are facing difficulties in downloading the new IMM0008 form due to issues at CIC's end.

What can be done is that a copy of the latest form be uploaded and hosted on the spreadsheet (FSW 2014), so that everyone on this forum can get access to it.
