I know I will be getting a lot of -1s because people can be facetious but I'm not worried, feeling very blessed right now!

I have a question if somebody can help me on, is it compulsory to notarize each and every xerox of the documents submitted along with fsw application package.? My consultant told me it is not mandatory..........

Hello Guys, After a long period of time, the day came when I collected the Passport after Visa Stamping from VFS. It's really a great moment. Many many thanks to this forum through which came to know lots of things. I wish all the very best who are still waiting and pray that everyone will get very soon.

I have one query, I see that they pasted one photo in COPR and returned 2nd one as it is(don't know why they wanted 2 copies of photo). Also, I don't see photo in stamping. Is it normal ?

My time line:- app date 17 Dec.. CC charged 9 feb.. PER 4 March..

Got 'Decision Made' this morning !!!

Application Date :- 16th May, 2014
PER :- 8th Oct, 2014
Medicals :- 1st week of Nov, 2014.
Added newborn to the application :- 1st week of Novmber.
Medicals for new born :- 2nd week of November.
FBI PCC :- Submitted on 15th Jan, 2015.

Decision Made :- 4th Mar, 2015.

Seniors please reply,

PPR received and passport sent for visa stamping.

In my application, I have showed around 15000 Canadian Dollars in FD in my account. Till date no one has rechecked that amount in my account. But, I have taken back that amount after three months in my account. Now, my question is whether I have to keep the same amount in my account in FD again or is it sufficient if I carry that amount as bank draft or canadian dollars wit me during my travel to Canada?

Hello seniors...i have a query. ..how much is required to be taken with us to canada for two people ....us 10000 CAD d limit for one or two people....thanx in advance...

Greater than USD 10,000 per person needs to be declared.!!

there is no limit. you just have to declare over 10000 CAD at the Customs.

PS. just received my weekly -6. I wish CPC-O revisited my file each 168 hours like the forum retard does in case of my profile. lol

One has to land in CANADA within one year of medicals or within the validity of visa, as mentioned on the visa.One has to stay in Canada for 2 years out of 4 years to renew the PR card and one has to stay in canada for 4 years out of 6 years to apply for citizenship.

Friend, it is 2 years out of 5 years
