Finally the time has arrived, got my passport stamped with immigration status along with COPR.

Thank you all for the wonderful support and motivation. Now the Big challenge is awaiting in my new life in Canada.

All the best for the rest who are awaiting their PER & MR's

Only thing one can do would just be patient and wait for the right time.

Is there a thread which i can refer for the next step which one needs to follow after getting VISA ?

Got my Passport back after stamping. Timeline below. Passport received on 23rd but was lying in the Post Office as the Security at my building refused to receive it on my behalf.


Visa Office: NDVO
NOC: 2174

Timeline:
App Filed: 21st May
CC Charge: 3rd September
PER: 12th September
Medicals: 3rd Novemver
Meds Done: 12th November
3rd Line Update: 21st November
PPR: 12th December
Passport Received at VO: 15th December
Passport Received by me with Visa: 23rd December (Collected the Passport Today).

Thanks everyone for all the help. Next is the plan to move to Canada. Will keep in touch in this fourm till them.

Your current residential address would have changed right?...Better to inform the VO...they may ask to submit an updated Generic Applctn Form....raise a CSE first for inquiry and see their reply....

Nope, no sequence, no trend, it is unpredictable like nature.... case to case basis buddy...Best of Luck

In my application I mentioned Intended destination: Edmonton

Now when i have visa with COPR, in COPR they have mentioned landing destination: Edmonton

But I want to go to Toronto now, Is it possible? Should i need to inform CIC to change the destination name in COPR?

Please reply fast, as I need to book tickets today only

MR, RPRF, PCC recieved: 14 Oct 2014

PCC applied on: 16/10/2014
PCC recieved on: 4/11/2014

MR applied on: 19/10/2014
Remedical: 29/10/2014 (only for husband, asked by doctor only, no involvment of CIC)

RPRF DD date: 6/11/2014

NDVO send date: 7/11/2014
NDVO recieved: 10/11/2014

3rd line - medical recieved: 10/11/2014

Passport request: 12/12/2014

Passport Sent date: 15/12/2014
Passport received: 24/12/2014
Vissa Issued: 23/12/2014

well it can't certainly be more than one year since then they will have to under go the medical examination again as medical is valid for one year.

and later we get stamped shorter time we get to plan our landing as we got to land within one year from the medicals.
