Thanks for the response. @Kuskus I already requested for gcms notes in March and there seemed not to be any problem. @PH the reason i increased the pof was due to the whole exchange rate brouhaha so that whatever it is we ll be on the safe side. @Donmakaveli The mail came on the 6th of may from AVO. I 'll keep praying and believing that very soon it will end in praise.

Hello everybody, its been a while since i last posted during the application period in 2014, don even forget username sef , anyways just wanted to thank the house especially d guru himself Pipi's husband for all d help and assistance during that period.
My family and i land in toronto pearson airport on the 1st of July (Canada day ),on board emirates, got our SIN and bank accounts already.

Hi, it's possible that an aspect of your back ground check is causing AVO to revisit your POF. Can't say what it is but it's good you have it in place however, don't increase it every time they request but maintain an amount just slightly above what's required for you. Since that is the only issue they raise and you have it, I smell your PR close by. We're watching to see if you'll remain silent for long, cheers

hi everyone.congrats to those with positive updates and recently landed seniors.
I plan to land soon and i need advice from landed seniors.
I am a medical doctor and I will be landing soon.I need information on survival job for doctors after landing.
I Know that doctors job require exams(MCCEE,QE1,2,NAC etc) and most material needed are better accessed in Canada.
Writing the exam before landing is not an option for me because I presently work as a doctor on contract basis but unfortunately the contract is ending soon.
Can anyone assist on the best clue to get job as a doctor in Canada while preparing to write the licensing exams?

Seems you are on the right track. The FLSC through the NCA (one of its committee) will assess your credentials and notify you of the exams to sit for. Once you've successfully passed the exams, you will be qualified for pupillage after which you will be eligible to join a law society. Do note, however, that the Canadian system is similar to its American counterpart where you can only practice in the province where you are a member of its law society.
