I want to share this good news with you:

I got the 4th line on my ECAS, Decision Made, "A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision" just now on 2/07/2014.

I have received my PER on 13.09.2013. Nothing happened more till now. It means no MR.

Now we got divorced with my husband (I am a main applicant). My ex-husband had no point contribution in my application.
But I stayed alone with 3 children...
I am so afraid now that this fact can negatively influence my application and visa officer may refuse it... It is about economical stabilization in Canada?

What do you all think about it? It costed me so much efforts to complit my app...;(((

First of all, it is your duty to notify your local VO about this change. This gives you a valid reason to contact them and attach any necessary evidence to this effect. The VO may also request several documents you may not have filed initially, e.g. consent from your ex-husband to take your children to Canada.

Second, since you're the principal applicant, and as long as you can still provide proof of funds, I believe (believe, can't tell for sure) this shouldn't substantially affect your evaluation.

Do let your VO know about this status change, and follow their instructions; the sooner the better.

I am FSW 2014 applicant but posting my question here as you all have already gone through the process and can answer my question in better way.

My question is regarding PCC. Is it mandatory that the PCC to be issued for the current address if the permanent address is different from current one(rented) but the passport carry the permanent address(made in 2012 only).

Can I get PCC for my permanent address only? I am asking because it will take just 1 day to get PCC for permanent address but it will take 1 month+ to get for current address.

I am sure answer to this question will help many others also.

If possible can someone from India share the PCC sample?

Hi Friend

Dont worry about address at all.

PCC is not address specific, and you can get PCC from any passport service in india. only you have to show
proof of current address.

Indian PCC are issued by verifying individual through police department and they check in national database
to see if any serious crime is conducted or not.

I think you should not bother on address part. I guess PCC contain passport dtails and birth place n date and name of candidate, which is enough for cic.

For Samples, Please visit google.com then click on image and type Indian PCC , you will see 3rd and 4th image for PCC. they dont mention address in pcc.

After PER you are safe and it will take some time for MR.

If you were divorced after filing your application then you can certainly inform cic about this. cic will ask for divorce paper and your update passport without your husband name on it.then cic will remove your husband from your application.Also make sure what will you need for taking your children to Canada (read CIC guidelines http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EG7TOC.asp ).I guess you will need your husband approval for taking your children to Canada and may be court order for your children custody.
