i got my WES hardcopy (corrected one). I think one of the copy should be send to NDVO, as my current status is waiting for second line. Planning to send it on monday itself with a covering letter explaining the correction. Am i right?? should i need to do anything in addition to that?? plz correct me if i am wrong..

Send to NDVO the hard copy of your revised ECA report with a covering letter stating the problem as you explained me before ASAP... Don't wait for the second line it will cause unnecessary delay in processing of your application....

Sorry...PER is one of the minimum requirements for entry in our fb group. Hope you understand.

Another requirement is that your FB name matches your name on the forum.

FBI Clearance


Hello Friends:

I am May 24' 13 applicant and vissa office is singapore. As I have seen from this forum Singapore visa office is starting processing May 13 applicants, I am thinking to apply for Police clearance. As I lived in the US, and FBI takes 6-8 weeks to process police clearance, I am planning to apply, though my consultant is saying not to apply now.

Do you guys have any suggestion? I read FBI clearance have around 6-12 months validity and also read somewhere visa office sometimes accepts expired clearance. Need your advice here....

Get your FBI clearance asap. Don't wait.

The FBI clearance report has 6 months validity for sure, but your application will be processed way before that.

Rather than making CIC wait, it is better to have all your documents ready.

I waited, and now I regret it, because at my interview the only document missing was the FBI clearance.

Hi tymbi,

I applied for the FBI clearance twice. Once after the application and once recently (thinking that they will not accept the expired one). Anyways, it takes around 1 week for package to reach FBI office and then 6 to 8 weeks for you to get the PCC in your hands. If you apply now, by the time you get it, it will have enough validity for you to submit it as is. So time out in a way that you have it ready when you need it. Let me know if you have any questions.
