Guys I have a query about Police Character Certificate ,
I need one from Pakistan , I got one but it was only valid for 90 days and for some reason I could not submit it to LVO nowif I try to get it gain I will need my national ID card renewed because it is expired and it cannot be renewed because Passport is with UK Homeoffice......Do you guys think LVO will accept my Police Character Certificate that was issued in december 2013 but it is way over its 90 days validity period?

Considering everyone is getting lucky with a visit to visa office me too really want to go n try my luck there..


Please suggest people...I am confused should v go or no.

Thinking is such a waste of time.. I suggest u GO and get your visa stamped passport ASAP.. there is no harm in trying... and as the other forum members posted there are humans at VO who treated applicants with great respect..

It was through VFS or normal mail

Today i received the passports with the maple leaffrom VFS.

Thanks to Adrenalineforu for helping in drafting a letter, taking out his precious time, has been very helpful all the time. Thanks to all senior members of the forum who have been very helpful.

I also received the IELTS results, photos and COPR along with this for me and my husband but didnt received the PCC back as in other forumite cases.

The COPR, which i have received has one point 'Conditions' and below that its written:

00: NONE
Have you ever been charged/convicted of a crime or offence; refused admission to Canada required to leave Canada?

Is this a standard point for all mentioned or is it specifically for certain people??
Forumites please guide, if it is mentioned in your COPR also????

I got DM on 30/03/2014, got VFS message the next day, and they received passports 1/04/2014, and i collected passports today morning from them.

So normally VFS receives passports in 1-2 days time from Canadian High Commission, as per my understanding.
