A few points to keep in mind for POF:Madi k said:Thnx u so mch for sharing ur experience... Almost evryone is suggesting me not to hire any consultant...now i m agree with all of u n going to make myself... BT WITH THE HELP U PEOPLE
I m just confuse about ;
1) " how to show funds....which documents needed ?? "
Can i show my property ??? Otherwise i will hv to borrow sm amount frm smone .... So wd it b a legal way ??
1. your funds shoul be any "encumbrance" free.
2. should be in your account for at least the last 6 months.
The best way to give POF is a FD on our name. Though you do not need to show the FD certificates, you need a statement from the bank stating that as on dd/mm/yyyy the funds are on your name since dd/mm/yyyy and are free of any encumbrances.
In case you hold the FDs jointly with a family member (for example father/mother/wife) make sure the option of the FD is "either or survivor" and that you are the primary applicant on the FD. You would also need to submit a solemn declaration as to why you have the funds jointly with sum1 and that you will have access to these funds when you need them.
