as far as i know, all the offices are in strike, but are working more or less, depending on their mood, i guess :-X

Hi All
Does anyone has a forecast regarding processing times, the time between the file arrival to VO and end of the process?
I saw at this forum various numbers(a yer, 16 month...) also the official processing times of CIC(unrealistic at all), but if I dont mistake, Kenney promised that process should become shorter... ???

Thanks for reply.but in my case I have 1 and half year experience in Health and safety and 6 years as HR Manager.i mentioned H&S as my primary occupation.will it be any issue for me that I haven't any formal education in h and s and only 1.5 year experience in h and s .

01. Since your experience in your primary NOC is 1 and 1/2 years (less than 2 years) you will get 9 points for your work experience.

02. No issues for education since it is not MANDATORY to have qualification in H&S. Also 2263 is a non-regulated profession in Canada. Check here officially:

since the whole thing about new law that's been passed, and the whole may 4th fama, i believe that it has to be much shorter, since the whole process of receiving apps for this year will end in april 2014. therefore, i believe that the whole process, after receiving per should not be longer than 6 months... in the other hand, the strike has complicated everything... but i'm certain it will end soon! so, my naive guess is that everyone who have received their pers do far, should be in canada latest in february 2014. well, at least that's what i'm going with, otherwise, i'd go nuts! ;D
