Looking at the CIC updates, and there is strong feeling that these updates do not reflect upto May 16th applications. They might be till May 10th/13th.

Given that, my PURE MATH formula holds good with the calculations.

We finally received our PCCs.
Current status of my application is CC charged and waiting for PER.
When should I submit the PCCs? I did not submit them with the application.

hi.please tell me how long does it take to get PCC.i am from mumbai.I app reached CIC on 7 july.should i wait as PCC are valid for 3 mnths only and CIC will give me PER after 2 mnths only as per trend shown in the spread sheet.

I did not send PCC with my application.
Should i apply now for the PCC as it will take approx. 20days?
or should wait till visa office asks for it?
as validity of it is for three months only.

Hi, PCC is valid for 6 months (I am from Punjab, it may be different for different states however), Please confirm.

You shall wait for your PER. As per the instructions in the Document Checklist also, they will ask for PCC on a later stage.

They are 2 methods to obtain PCC:-

1) From PSK (Passport Seva Kendra), if your current address is same as that on your passport, you should avail this service. They will deliver it quickly and as I came to know they may hand it over to you same day. But if the addresses are different it may take about 3 weeks to obtain it (as they will send for inquiry to local police station)

2) From you Commissioner of Police office (here they have made a separate cell to address PCC requests), It takes 7-8 days or even more depending upon the addresses you have lived for last 4-5 years (if they want to go into details) to get it by this method (it also include local police station inquiry)

I think you should have explore all your options beforehand and get your forms ready to submit for PCC but wait till they ask to send it.

CIC count (for 2174) and our excel sheet count differ ..seems some applicant have not join this forum or may be not aware about this forum..

after payment there must not have any problem in PER
wait for 3-4 days
than opt for CSE
