Most poeple heard from CIC in around 60 days. As the workload increases later on, +10 days can be expected for the applications in May.
Haven't double checked. Give me a shout and open my eyes if I am wrong.

Today I was walking with a Consultant (So called Law Firm) in Delhi and according to them 2174 has received only 12 Completed Files and this 2174 will be open for approx. next 4 months i.e 6 months altogether from its opening.

I was confused whether to trust them or to LOL because more than that has been reported in this community.

Whats your opinion guys

You should take a look at the spreadsheet (JohnnyZee's signature) and find out yourself, scroll down to where you start seeing 2174 and count all green records. Be noticed that those are just the result in this forum, we should zoom out to have a bigger number .

As per Geverok, her cc was stolen so what she did that I can remember from her previous post, she sent another fee form indicating the new details of her card. She sent also a cover letter explaining what had happened. I hope this helps.

Apologizing to everyone in the forum for not updating the spreadsheet as I do not have that information. I mailed the application from Canada through a friend and I do not have the tracking number to get the delivery information. It must have reached CIC on 21st, 22nd, or 23rd of May. I promise to update the spreadsheet as soon as I have any information from CIC.

I have a small question that bothers me though: can things like pics on blue background (we read photo instructions, however that wasn't clear!), forgotten NOC tag at the application package cover or that credit card belongs to sub-applicant, wife, me, make CIO dislike us?..

If anybody has an answer to it, I'd be more than grateful.

I just spoke with a lovely lady at CIC and she informed me that my application was returned on June 25 because they tried several times to charge the CC but it was declined.

DD the best and confirmed choice.

Now... the lady took my details and check but told me that there is no information log for my application NOC 2147 received on May 8, 2013.

Does that means it took them just 1week to quickly decide on your file and then try charging your Card? Going by the slow pace of work at CIC, i strongly doubt that. Although you have the final word on that.
Please what type of card did you use and what currency?

I am new to this forum, I am applying for FSW towards the end of July.I need your advice regarding the letter of reference from employers; My previous employer(HR Dept.) says that it cannot provide me any letter of reference stating the responsibilities due to a policy of company . What I have is a relieving letter from the company which has the duration of my stay with the company, my designation (graduate trainee engineer), division in which I worked. Is this accepted by CIC ? . The company is a Fortune 500 germany based company.

You just need to have your supervisor's signature (and his/her business card!?). But seniors can help you out.

If on Monday 2 of the 13th of May morning applications have been charged and also janeyandstuart told us yesterday she was charged, I bet all morning applications are done...Maybe they already started working on the afternoon apps...Reddeviiiil, where are uuuuu ;D?
