Hi Everyone,

I have finally received my stamped passport
It was delivered on the 2nd June, but I missed the delivery and collected a few days back from the office of Indian Post.

What a relief to be on this stage of application.

I thank each member of this forum - Life became easier after I found this place.

I have a question - When does the 5 year period for maintaining the PR Start? The day we land first time or the day our visa starts? Any input is highly appreciated.

Can any of the experienced persons please share experience about proof of fund. I have recieved PER on 3rd June 2014. I am expecting next steps of submitting proof of funds by year end.

My case is i have Fixed deposits of the settlement funds dated last year and this year but i have heard embassy asks for 6 month bank statements as well. I have never maintained balance in my Savings/salary account. Sometimes the balance is reduced to 0 rs even.

Do you think that will be a problem even if i have money for settlement?

I am really happy to share that fourth line has been added to my ECAS on 13/06/2014. Admin please update:

[size=10pt][size=10pt]4.A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision[/size][/size].

Now, I am waiting for PPR from Sydney VO. Hopefully they will send the email in a day or two

Thanks edvrfn. I have updated the a couple of records as you informed. To the ones in the above list if they are reading this message, I would like request them to kindly inform us on their status so it can be updated in the database. Else if all other admins agree, we can move their records to inactive sheet. Since it is time consuming to move records between the spreadsheets (only because of the slower response of google spreadsheet most of the times), I would like all to confirm before any action could be taken.

Actually, my process started on Feb-10, but after that there was no update from NDVO. Still waiting for MRs and PPR...
So there was no update from my end in the forum...
