The only reason for no MR is currently NDVO is in mood of finalizing the applications for which they already issued MR and issuing DM to all the applicants.

Since last two weeks, I didn't see much MR. Only one of my lucky friend Nikjuneja got the MR on great day of Maha Shivratri.

So, what I believe is once this backlog of DM and final review will get completed we would certainly receive our MR.

Thats my thinking.. Hope might be right rest God Knows and seeing at all this only GOD better knows the NDVO.

I am already getting a taste of Canadian daily happening, listening to local Radios there using an app on my android phone. I am loving cbc radio one toronto. 3G or wifi needed.

Do you have your UCI?

I would suggest calling CIC once again. When you talk to the agent, just mention that the fee has already been encashed and you would kindly like to know your UCI so you can check the application status on ECAS. Some agents prefer not to give UCI. So if you are not lucky in the first instance, try again later and you may be able to talk to a more cooperative agent. Once you get your UCI you may be able to check app status on ECAS online at least. If ECAS shows your status in process, you can be certain that your PER is on the way (so far we did not have any NER case after fee encashment).

Simultaneously, you can send an email to cio-sydney-search-enquiry @ cic.gc.ca to raise the concern and request for status update.

Congrats atipra. I am glad that you received a positive response from them. The email you have received could very well be your PER. Wish you a quick AOR and MR now.

Just for curiosity, do the opening lines of the email read something like this?

"This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada in the Federal Skilled Worker class.

The Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism issued instructions which were published in the Canada Gazette on May 4, 2013. Only applicants who meet the criteria specified in these Ministerial Instructions are eligible to be processed in the Federal Skilled Worker class.

Based on a review of the information you have provided, your application has received a positive determination of eligibility to be processed on the basis of work experience in an occupation specified in the Instructions issued by the Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism and published in the Canada Gazette on May 4, 2013. However a final decision on your eligibility to be selected as a federal skilled worker will be made by a visa office."
