Dear All,
I am currently preparing my application and I am going to submit my IELTS certificate and my spouse certificate too.
I believe that British Council could send certifications to CIC
Is there any problem if I sent only copies from IELTS certifications and let British Council send original copies directly to CIC or it is better to submit original certification with application by myself?

Follow exact instructions given by CIC. If the checklist asks for originals, that is what they want. Good luck.

I have the same case, my wife is also the primary applicant and just want to share with you that her surname after marriage is mentioned in PER email. Rest I don't know what to do for it.

I would request all the members of the form to share their experience ( if any) in this matter and assist Maxuha.

Dear Friends,
I have a question. Me and my husband submitted all our documents including family name change after marriage in our application.I am a main applicant.
Today I've got PER and only now noticed that in the mail they used my maiden name.(family name before the marriage). Can this cause problems during the process? who should I notify about this mistake?

i hv nt changed my surname after marriage.. bt that doesn't make difference as far as we have genuine marriage certificate, joint bank accounts and all other genuine documents to prove our marriage etc

Hello Wael. This is the link where the current application package is posted by CIC. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/skilled.asp. Please go here and check the document checklist IMM5612. It shows all the required docs and specifies whether originals or copies are required.

I agree with maina.

Even my in-law who got visa in fsw2011 , were not having updated passport but only genuine marriage certi n join bank account.

Please need some comments ....
I have received my PER and file transferred to local visa office. At this stage, I got some dispute with my consultant, who is registered consultant. I want to take him off from my application. Please suggest if this is rite time to do this? Can he do something wrong with my application if I email to local visa office that I don't have any representative anymore. Please advice
