are being charged for even 27th May ??? ? by almost a gap of two weeks!!

I agree on the above analysis, that the cic updates correspond to each working day. But I guess that updates started from 8th May. i.e.

Cap update Total Corresponding
by CIC filled working date
1st update (20-06-2013) 26 Wednesday, May 08, 2013
2nd update(24-06-2013) 65 Thursday, May 09, 2013
3rd update (16-7-2013) 163 Friday, May 10, 2013
4th update (29-07-2013) 389 Monday, May 11, 2013

These might be the complete applications which are transferred to VO. I may be wrong ... lets keep our fingers crossed.

According to his theory, the CIC numbers may refer to files transferred to the VOs.

Well CIC is only giving details about ( update) completed application , which is as per the definition of completed application
given in FAQs are only those for which they are completed in full ( without any missing information and properly signed)
remember they are considered complete only when fee is charged , until the fees is charged an application cant be considered
as complete ( like in the case of wrong CC details applications are returned back ).

Yes, it may be the case as we discussed earlier also.

There is one more indication to this point, the update page's title is "Applications we will accept" - http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/complete-applications.asp

I want to discuss one thing , how many chance of a diploma engineer greeting thru FSW, as in NOC 2132 education qualification requirement is Bachelor although Diploma get the same point as B.Tech.
Plz have your say on this as this is very confusing.
Rawdah let me know abt your know how abt your fees status ??

To all the experts on the forum, first of all thanks for putting details instructions and guidelines for filling up the application.
Using the guidelines here, we had filled out application but there is a bigges question that is killing us these days.

I am currently in USA and we have sent our application to CIC(on July19 2013) but till date have not heard back anything from CIC..... not sure if my application was accepted or rejected.

Would request if someone from the forum can help me let know what would be the next steps. How soon can i expected email from CIC stating decision of my application.

Please share your experiences.
