I would like to hope the same for you. I really wish you do; I do understand the mental agony of waiting. Mine was received on May 2, so I am hoping to receive in next 3 weeks in time for the long weekend. Fingers crossed!

Hi I applied for PR under provincial nominee category, right now I am in india and my file was under process in New York. I have been asked to submit my passport to New york for stamping. can i get visa stamp from New Delhi? as i can not send passport to new york by post and I dont have visa to go to new york. Please share your knowledge.

Sent Passport to LA Consulate (Fedex Overnight) - 5/2/2013
LA Consulate received Passport - 5/3/2013
USPS Retrun Shipment (Stamped Passports) Activated - 5/15/2013
Expected to receive package with Stamped Passports as per USPS - 5/16/2013 (TBD)

Hi All, I'll get my passport back tomorrow. below is my timeline:

Online submission: April 19

Passport request: May 07

Passport received by LA consulate: May 08

Return envelop mailed out: May 15

ETA: May 16

Applied Online - 04/30/2013
Request letter for Passports - 05/22/2013, 05/30/2013 (wife)
Sent Passports to LA Consulate - 5/31/2013
LA Consulate received Passports - 06/01/2013
USPS Retrun Shipment (Stamped Passports) Received- 06/06/2013

In my openion, its better to send the passports to LA then NY consulate.

hi guys, i hope someone in this forum can provide me with the answer, you never receive from cic or the embassy.

i am a german citizen, currently working in canda. my wife is an indonesian citizen and applied online for a visitors visa to come and see my. my daughter has got a german passport so she needs no visa. my wife got her original passport request e-mail 4 days after submitting the application. so she sent in her passport to vienna via the visa office in duesseldorf. but the original passport request letter just said: a decision has been made... does that mean the visa was granted? or is there the possibility of being refused after receiving the passport request. it wouldnt make much sense to me that they ask you to send in your passport for a REFUSED stamp right???

please give me answers as i have to start looking for flight for my family (they are supposed to come in august). thanks a lot in advance.
