My husband and I have 2 kids. No relatives po kami sa Canada, so sabi ng consultant namin, student is the best way to go.

Here is our timeline:

November 27, 2013 - Submitted requirements to the consultancy firm (SP for husband, SOWP for me, TRV for 2 kids)
December 6, 2013 - Medical request received for hubby

I am very, very worried. Bakit si hubby lang? I've read some of the previous posts here and nakita ko naman na meron nga cases na nauna lang talaga yung iba, nahuhuli sa kids. Pero anyway, what added to my worries is that sabi ng consultant kasi namin, no need to fill up a TRV application form for the kids. So iniisip ko, err, pano yun nangyari? I filled up mine including Family Info sheet. When I asked her to give me the forms for the 2 kids, sabi nya ay mam no need na po. Reading here, it seems lahat kayo nag fill out ng TRV even for kids. I am really worried. Not sure what to do next pero bukas pupuntahan ko yung consultant namin.

CLP ko applied first thru study permit (with COOP-work permit)

advised by our consultants not to apply together with hubby coz there are risks.
so yun, we were left (me and son) here in pinas and 6months after applied na SOWP AND TRV... waiting for good news nalang...

wait niyo lang sis, delayed MRs really happen.
i can't answer why you weren't asked to fill out trv forms.
baka kasi sis it's a bundled application(my assumptions though)
i have no idea,happy lang ako to read same case as ours na study permit ang hubby. dumadami narin nag aapply SOWP fr a student permit holder na hubby...

Thank you po sir. We have a consultant. Medyo naguluhan lang ako kasi sabi sa CIC kahit kids meron dapat TRV. Sabi ng consultant namin no need. So medyo conflicting. Wala ako drop down for open work or LMO since TRV lang po ang pinafill out sakin ng consultant namin. Student po kasi si hubby..bale makikiride lang kami sa kanya. Hehe

Sis, pagkakaalam ko, you can apply for open work permiT kahit na SP ang apply ng husband mo. Work permit made outside canada anf form na ifill up mo, then meron dun box kung worker, student, or open work permitangaapplyan mo. Then sa kids nyo, need nyo mag apply for trv if ages 0-4 and sp for 5 and above.

Just wait na din sa reply ng other forum mates baka may same situation sa inyo. Or try din to do the assessment sa cic.gc.ca and answer the questionaire to make sure kung anong forms and neef nyo talaga isubmit..

Nov 28 lang din ako nagsubmit ng application together with my son na 2 yrs old. Owp ako, trv son ko. Meton syang sariling trv form na need isubmit and passport and picture, and other documents to support his application. Online application ginawa namin..

Dapat sis, hindi na kayo kumuha ng consultant kasi dami naman tutulong sa nyo dito sa forum and even sa fb group para makapag apply...

Alam mo lurker ako ng story mo. Hehe. Nabasa ko post mo since pregnant ka pa, 5 months ata that time? If I remember correctly. Wala pa kasi kami sapat na funds nun. Kaya basa basa lang din ako talaga dito.

Actually sis, ang consultant pa namin ang nag suggest na better na umalis na kami ng magkakasama to make it easier daw. So long as we meet all the requirements, lalo na sa funds. I guess kasi sis wala kaming relatives sa Canada. My parents and in laws are all based here, so are all our siblings both sa sides namin ni hub. Kaya siguro meron pa din "strong ties" sa country since lalo na ako, my parents are in their 70s na, and I have 5 brothers all settled here.

Praise God pa din hub got his medical na, 1 week ago when we submitted our requirements. Sana nga sis sumunod na yung sa amin ng kids. January 6 ang pasok ni hub...though meron din classes sa February 3. I am praying really hard na sana, sumunod na din yung samin. Kayo sis paalis na ba kayo?

Oo nga sis, but my in laws preferred to do it via a consultant. Since kung di dahil sa kanila di namin alam meron pala option to go together as a family. Bukas punta ako sa consultant to discuss these with her. She informed me about the open work permit but did not give me the necessary forms to fill out. Si hub for medical na next week. Sana naman walang aberya sa amin mag-iina. Pray pray and pray lang ang peg ko! Thanks sis!

TRV sayo and sa kids nyo? Pero can you work while in canada? And bakit walang forms for your kids... Sana maclear sayo asap ng consultant nyo yan para you can update pa your application ng maaga... Good luck sis aa application nyo!

Yes sis, TRV sakin and sa kids. Buti nalang may ganitong forum, I have an idea at di ako sunod lang sa agos na walang kaalam alam sa mga pangyayari. I will definitely ask her tomorrow talagang sasadyain ko sya to clear this up. She told me about OWP pero she did not give me the forms. Tapos walang forms ang kids kasi di daw need. Hay. As far as I know need ng forms ng kids. Not sure kung iba ang procedure pag SP ang principal applicant kaya hindi kayo pinag fill up for your kids... Pls share din what sabihin ng consultant nyo para mainform ang ibang gusto mag apply with SP spouse...

almost 2months bago dumating MR niya.

a month after nag ff-up na ako noon...
yung iba nga after a week lang dumadating na MR baby nila...
3months is a long wait, enough time for you to ff-up.

i attached photo of my MED REQ fr cem,receipt from st lukes na im done with my medical na, and a cover letter.
ako man makukulitan pag sakin ginawa yung pinag ff-up ko. hehe!
atleast im thankful napansin nila agad...

Hi, ginagawa ko ngayon ang open work permit app online, pero diko sure kung sa supporting documents na i upload sa akin ba or sa hubby ko? meron kc CV, Contract at current employer reference etc..thanks!

sis ako sept.23 ko nareceive MR ko..then Oct.9 ako ngpamedical den pinasa ng DMP last oct.23..anong email add kyo ng`follow up po?

sana po may mkasagot sa question ko.. sa mga may husband/wife na pumunta ng canada from other countries. tpos taung mga naapprove with sowp dto sa pinas. hahanapan po ba tau sa naia ng oec copy ny husband/wife na nasa canada na? sana po may mkasagot sa tanong ko.. thanks.

May checklist na ibibigay sayo pag online application, u can upload other documents na wala sa checklist sa letter of explanation, u can attach everything na will support your application. Make sure na naka pdf form sya para magkasya sa 4mb maximum size of file.

Ok lang sis. Pwede din sa ms word as long as max of 4mb per file.
Kaya lang sis, di ba 1 jpeg 1 file na un? Pwede mo sis ipaste lahat sa ms word then save as pdf mo para mas lumiit ung file size.
