Fixed deposits Proof of funds

hello forum.

I’ve declared to bring in 18k CAD for me and my family. I have the money as saving in fixed deposits and shares.

Hardly anything in my savings account.
Will FD and demat account declaration from bank be okay and acceptable to submit for proof of funds ?

I also have some in PF that I’ll withdraw once I leave organisation to move to Canada. That can be shown ?

Yes FD is acceptable for proof of funds.

FD is acceptable but not shares.

as per CIC

What we accept as proof
Funds must be readily available to you. For example, you can't use equity on real property as proof of settlement funds.

The funds must be available both when you apply and when (if) we issue you a permanent resident visa. You must prove to an immigration officer that you can legally access them to use to settle here when you arrive.

For proof, you must get official letters from any banks or financial institutions where you are keeping money.

Letter(s) must:

• be printed on the financial institution’s letterhead
• include their contact information (address, telephone number and email address)
• include your name
• list outstanding debts such as credit card debts and loans
• include, for each current bank and investment account:
  • account numbers
  • the date each account was opened
  • the current balance of each account
  • the average balance for the past six months

Hello again.
I have part funds in FD's. Can i show PPF as valid proof ?
I read in the forum that it can be used.. My account is 20 years old so I can remove money any day.

Hope you can confirm this and it will resolve my funding problem.

For PPF u need, balance from the bank where a/c is held
