my son will be visiting us here in Canada from the Philippines this September, Can somebody tell me what to expect from the airport... like, does he need to pay travel tax, terminal fee , etc. and how much.

Airport User's Fee - Php 750.00 - paid before the immigration desks, right after checking in at the airline counters and dropping off the checked in baggage.

If your son is a minor, you may need to get a travel clearance from DSWD - see here: http://www.dswd.gov.ph/faqs/travel-clearance-for-minors/
