Financial Fund Gift from son (my youngest brother) to mother

Hello everyone,

I was planning to invite mother to Canada with Super Visa application, and as part of financial funds I want my brother to gift 5000 USD to her account with gift deed. Is that ok? I know that receiving from parent to child is possible (i did it for myself back in the days), but not sure if vice versa also applicable (from son to mother)?

I think that should be fine because for supervisa your finances will be important. You must meet the income requirements to sponsor.
