I got my visa today from CIC-london


I am flying on sunday from gatwick to toronto...!!!!!\

Humber college - regulatory affairs
current status- PSW visa
citizenship- Indian.
funds showed- 16000£ for 2 month

good luck guys... for who are waiting for visa.

I do have one question for you...please advise me.

i am working for pharmaceutical company for last 2 yrs. some of my frds in canada suggested me to ask abt student work permit in toronto airport by showing my payslips and employment offer and ofcourse my current resignation etc..!!!!

does it causes me any problems or....it will be ok....???? please advise me on this.

Did u give the medical test from CIC London. I have also applied for visa but havent heard anything from them yet. They just sent me a acknowledgement letter after 4 weeks of my docs submission.

work permits are granted on airports if in case the course you are going for is a co-op.
if it is not that then you will be granted an off campus work permit after 6 months. you would have to apply after 6 months and then the process takes almost a month and half.
if your course is not co op then never try to ask at airport for a work permit because you are a student and a study visa shows the intentions od getting pure education and that wouldn't be good on your part if you ask them at airport..

btw can you pls help me out.... even i hve two years of experience. iam planing to join humber.... the reviews are bad on other courses..... hw abt RA??? .... hw is it over there??? is everything fine??? living, accomidation, teaching etc ??
