crissy,
in my case,my bank account was less than a year old when i applied tpos may one time bulk deposit(the same amount as yours) din ako two months before submission to cem....i think ok nman wala ako ginawang explanation....

lolabasyang,
may note doon sa medical request naganto nakalagay:

IMPORTANT:In your signed application for permanent residence, you indicated funds that you will bring to canada for settlement purposes. At any time before the finalization of your application or before your landing in canada, you may be required to demonstrate that these funds remain readily available for transfer or use in canada.Failure to satisfy this requirement could result in the refusal of your being granted permanent residence in canada.

OK lng i guess na mabawasan as long as the available balance is the same or above the required funds in your application para safe.

hi crissy,

nung nagsubmit ako ng docs to VO, la pang 1 month yung 2 bank accounts & time deposit accounts. La naman naging problem. Di naman sila nagtanong regarding sa bank account ko. I suggest na i-submit mo na lang yun as it is, then magprovide ka na lang ng explanation kapag hiningan ka.

pfcastelo,

I am also in the process of gathering my required documents to be submitted to Canada Embassy in Manila. I have some questions for you and to everyone. I am confused with the latest Checklist (IMM 7025 E) particularly in list #13 POLICE CERTIFICATES AND CLEARANCES. If you can observe there are columns for "F" (Federal Skilled Worker), "P" (Provincial Nominee), and "Q" (Quebec -Selected Applicant). Every list of item there is corresponding checkbox aligned to the F,P & Q categories. But I am wandering why there is no checkbox in list #13 aligned to category F. Does this mean that Police Clearance is no longer needed for submission to Canada Embassy? It seems impossible. But if it is really needed I would like to know if NBI clearance is enough or do I still need to get a Police Clearance in my place?

Another question regarding Checklist #13. I have worked abroad for more than a year (2008-2009). Do I still need to obtain a Police Clearance from abroad where I lived for more than 6 months before although I am now in the Philippines for more than a year since I came back?

If you or anyone knows the answers to my questions please let me know. Thank you very much and God bless.
I think someone already answered this question but since you addressed the question to me, I'll go ahead and answer it just the same.

Question 1. NBI is enough. But you have to ensure that the purpose is VISA Canada.
Question 2. Based on previous replies, you have to secure a police clearance from the country that you stayed for more than 6 months. Hindi kasi namin ginawa ito, i hope na may makasagot sa mga applicants na gumawa nito. ;D

I think the place of issue will not be problem. As lola_basyang stated, it's a national database.

Just to give sharing from experience to those who would be doing their medicals.
We just had our medicals with Nationwide here in Makati last October 26.

Share ko lang mga tips para di masyado hassle sa inyo:

- If possible come on a Wednesday or Thursday. Start of the week is usually busy....especially if it came from a long weekend/holiday (just like us). Inabot kami whole day waiting
- Do not bring extra companion when going there..they would not be allowed inside
- If you have major operations/diagnosis/conditions before and you plan to disclose them, it is best to secure medical certificate from your doctor before going for medical. Para di na kayo babalik pa. The medical certificate should contain the following information:

1) Complete details of the current clinical status of the applicant
2) The history of onset, treatment, progression, and complication of the disease
3) Copies of reports of any relevant investigation necessary to determine the etiology, specific diagnosis stage or remission of the disease
4) The current treatment plan
5) The specialist's opinion on the prognosis of the condition and the individual's future treatment / management requirement
6) No reference regarding medical admissibility to Canada
7) Embassy requires TYPEWRITTEN reports
8) Reports lacking the pertinent details listed above will cause delay or a referral to an embassy-accredited specialist
9) The immigration medical officer of the country concerned may still request for additional information or investigation

- For those with kids, bring coloring books or any other activities they could do seated

For now eto lang po muna...

Hope this helps
