i gave my passport last monday sa agent ko.

kelan plan mo umalis? nag-che-check na ko ng mga tickets, excited e. ;D

nasa 120 days na ako... dun sa napass na sa embassy yung papers... tapos yung initial application na sinend sa nova scotia nakalagay dun sa website na nila-log in, forwarded na sa canadian embassy yung papers ko daw...

ganoon ba, so don't worry too much pala, kc pag hindi ka qualified sa CIO palang sinasauli na ang applcn mo, sobrang strict yan cla kahit na konting mali sinauli ang lahat....goodluck!

dami na tayo may bad experience sa mga agents....

im gathering my dox for submission to the canadian embassy-manila.

confused po ako sa transcript. the instruction says original transcripts must be in university-sealed envelopes. yng sa akin po kasi is with DFA authentication. does it mean ibabalik ko yun sa school para i-seal nila?

confused po ako sa transcript. the instruction says original transcripts must be in university-sealed envelopes. yng sa akin po kasi is with DFA authentication. does it mean ibabalik ko yun sa school para i-seal nila?

Trabscript of records yung galing ng school yan it should have a schools seal (yun yung ibig sabihin ng sealed tapos yung envelope dapat me tatak din ng school)

Hayyy, i still hope na payagan na nila ako since nakapasa nako sa CIO. tama naman lahat ng papers ko except lang sa tita ko kasi d pa lang dumating at nadelay kasi yung landed immigrant status nya. sinayang nung agent ang 40k ko gagad kasi eh na maka-recruit. buti nalang hindi ganun ka galit mama ko sa nasayang ne pera. hopeful parin kami na ma approve ang case ko... sana include nyoko sa prayers ninyo... ang hirap and kapagod maglakad ng papers...

Congratulations!!! That's good news...

I am planning to submit my full docs this week...how did you attach your photos and that of your dependents? Did you seal them separately in envelopes, one for each individual or put them all together in just one envelope and seal it. Do we have to staple the envelope in the application form?

thanks kanebo! i'm so sorry i can't answer your questions because i hired a consultant to do the work for me. other forum members without consultants please help?

so far, my consultants have done a good job and i'm satisifed with their services. especially on the detailed job descriptions ( which i did myself but would have not known that it would have to be as detailed as what they made me do).

Hi.

I'm new here, but been reading some of the comments, especially the discussion of the nurses applying for FSW.
And if I can remember it right, char_bonel is my lecturer during my NCLEX review days in Kaplan.

Anyways, I'm a nurse, with less than a year of total work experience. And I know it's not enough for FSW to begin with. But I just want to plan ahead so in coming months, when I have the required work experience, I will know what to expect.

I'm currently on H1B visa, and as you guys know, US immigration is kinda "closed" right now. And I don't want to sit comfortably here not knowing what will happen to me in the future. So I decided to apply/inquire/express my interest on Canadian immigration.

My problem is, based on the CIC self assessment test, I can only earn less than 67 points. (Though I'm thinking of enrolling on a French class. Just kidding). But the lawyer I've talked to, just basing from the idea that I'm a nurse on H1B, with assumed 1 year experience, told me to apply under FSW (I initially inquired about the Alberta's Provincial Nomination for H1B holders).

Requirement-wise, I can see little or no problem about the Alberta nomination route. But it can take at least 8months for the nomination alone..and what, another 6 months at least for CIC processing.

With FSW, it's faster but when it comes to requirements, I may be in trouble. But at least there are points I can manage to raise, like English skills, (really, French if needed..haha) and arranged employment, which is kinda difficult for a new nurse, or get married and earn additional adaptability points..joke.
