Hi

I relinquished my PR on Nov 2013, so the entire Year 2014 I am Non-Resident but still have ties to Canada as follows:
Wife and adult children (Students) are PR and still living in Canada.
We have a house in Joint ownership which still under Mortgage.
House is rented out and they are living in a Rented Apartment
Wife has a permanent basic part-time Job, so I am working outside Canada to support them financially.
Until 2013, we (wife and I) always filed income Tax in joint.

Q1: Do we still can file in Joint or must be separate from 2014 and onward ?

Q2: If separate, can I :
- Take all Expenses ( Mortgage interest + Property Tax + House maintenance expenses ) 100 % under my part while
50% only as Income from House Rent ?
- Transfer "Tuition fees from Child" upto 5,000 to my expenses, or this applies to Resident Parents only ?

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. :)
