File transferred to Sydney in October 2011

My file got transferred to Sydney Visa Office in Oct 2011 but i havn't heard anything from VO yet.
Just wondering is there any1 in similar situation who would like to share their experiences.

Can't help but I'm in the same situation so thought I'd get this back on the front page.

I emailed Sydney VO on Monday to see if they had received my application yet, and my medical results, but they responded the next day saying that my app is still in processing in Missisauga, despite the fact we got confirmation for the sponosrship approval on 8 Nov. so they could only confirm they'd received my medical results.

From what I gather though, Sydney typically takes a month to send some kind of AOR, having looked back at other threads. But they also seem to have been reasonably quick to process app's if all was in order (at least quicker than the timeline).

Would be great to keep eachother posted on the progress of our app's as there isn't alot of information out there for people using Sydney!

I just got another response from Sydney, after I replied telling them we'd already received our sponsorship approval so wanted to fix my address. They said they are expecting a new shipment any day, so hopefully both of ours will be with them shortly, if yours isn't already.

Do you have access to your E-cas yet?

Thanks for sharing the info.
I have received an email from Sydney VO stating that they have received my application on 24th October. However, my husband got sponsorship approval in Sept second week.

After their letter on 24th Oct. I havn't heard anything from them.
May i ask which email id are you using to correspond with Sydney VO?

Hi, I initially used the contact form frm the website, but this is the address I have since received replies from.

re-sydney.immigration@international.gc.ca

I emailed them back using it so it definitely works, but usually they take 24 hours to respond.

I wouldn't worry too much though, I imagine you will hear something shortly as they seem to have been very good in the past at working through applications.

status update on cic website says - we started processing your file on 24th Nov.
it took a month frm the date of receipt to start processing???

is there any1 with similar dates who has already received a pp request?
