It is too late only for those that are hoping to get their application in before the 4 year residency requirement comes into effect. But this protest has nothing to do with that particular clause (turboracer might think otherwise). Since some parts of the bill are certain to be challenged in the court, it is hoped that protests like these along with the judicial process might put pressure on the government to reconsider those controversial sections of the bill.
