So I just received the AOR 1 March 10 and linked it on the same day which worked just fine. What to expect next?

Good news guys just received my AOR1 and was able to link it right away.

My wife has been approved as a Sponsor as of today! So far so good.

I updated the spreadsheet accordingly!

I spoke with CIC regarding an issue with linking my application. They're asking me to fill the form and contact Technical team, I already filled the form and they're saying it'll take 10 days for Technical team to help. Isn't that crazy? 10 days?? Woah. Having said that the guy with CIC sent me another link (IRCC Web form) where you can upload your schedule A Background form. I guess I have to use this form to upload Sched A form for now until I'd be able link our App.

Also I got an update from CIC that you can trying linking the app even after 7 days so it's not a biggie. CIC will give 7 days time so that you'd be able to link and upload any required documents and during that time they'll not send any email or try not to contact you get documents from you. You could still try to link the app after 7 days.

My spouse got a request to submit Schedule A and PC. But we're bit confused here because they're requesting my spouse to provide PC for her and every family member (Whether accompanying you to Canada or not) who is aged 18 or older.

My question is why would they ask us to provide PC for all the family member and that's going to take some serious time. I thought CIC would request PC only from PA. Has anybody got similar kind of request? Please let me know how to proceed further. They also given a time frame to submit these documents and that's on April 8th (we roughly have about a month to submit).

Hi all,

I received an email that I have been approved as sponsor and my spouse's PR application has been sent to Bucharest for further processing, although my wife was born and has been living in Amman, Jordan her whole life! and there is a visa office in Amman serving the region!.
I called CIC to check if this was a mistake and the officer told me that's normal and that Bucharest office serves the middle east region, but I am still really not convinced! as i see people from middle east having their applications sent to Amman and proper VO!

Any idea what to do? is this normal? anyone had their application sent to wrong VO?

I sent a specific case email to cic and will see what they say.

Its normal. Pakistan has a huge Canadian High Comission, but these days Immigration Applications are transferred to London Visa Office by Mississauga CPC
