Is there any other test preparatory material needed online or is it just with the "Discover Canada study guide" ? Please share guys.

File received by Mississauga office on May 21st, so in my case there is a link b/w local office transfer and disappearance of received line which disappeared on May 18

Called cic today and was told my background check has been completed and file was transfered to local office.
Called again to double check and I was given the exact dates of background checks and file transfer date.

Received march 6,2014
AOR and book sent march 6,2014
In process April 16,2014
Received line disappeared may 19,2014
received AOR and booklet may 20,2014
File transferred to local office june 12th,2014

Any experience with hamilton office, how long does it take to get test date from them..

Hamilton, Niagara and Windsor local offices are the fastest.

They are getting Oath in 5 to 6 months from these 3 offices this year 2014. Lucky guys. Enjoy

I am asking between my file was transferred to local office ( hamilton ) June 12 and I was wondering how busy or fast they are here .

Thanks, I have no idea when it was transferred i never called cic during the process
Test notice does not show on Ecas. I think Hamliton is one of the faster offices though.

i wish you and your family a bright future do pray for us. i have depression with this whole process affecting my health. i wish one day cic implements a exit system so we dont have to go through this processing pain. we come here for a good life but initial years are so painful. keeping records of everything we do here. since i came to canada i never threw any receipt. every day i wish and pray for myself and my family futures
