Okay, so disregard the postal code they've specified in the email?

Brother , I have sent my PC at the address which I pasted you and I got Ack mail also after 10 days or so
Note: In my case I have sent PC by my own , before they ask any thing from their end

Hey guys, i have a quick question.

I'm about to send out the police certificates that CIC has requested from me.

They're asking me to send the documents to this address -

Case Processing Center – Ottawa
Citizenship and Immigration Canada
219 Laurier Avenue West
Ottawa, ON
K1L 1L1

Now i know i shouldn't be questioning them if they've specified the entire address for me. But i did a quick Google search and this postal code comes up in only 1 area in a forum. Everyone else has been sending their documents to a different postal code with the same address

Any thoughts???

It doesn't matter all the CEC files are processed at CPC ottawa regardless the applicant's country of residence.

that's true only up to certain stage of processing. Once they request for PCC or Passport they will ask to send them to the visa office we request for processing. On that note I just wanted to know the visa office mentioned in the applicant.

To answer your question - i cant recall which visa office i sent my applications to, don't have copies of my applications in front of me right now. But i do believe it was the one in Sydney, NS.

Hey don't be panic
Assume for 1 min call was from CIC and you missed that
Trust me CIC is not going to take any decision based on criteria you are not able to pick call

It's just my friendly advice

guys do you have the phone number that CIC use to call applicants? Is it constant or same# irrespective day & time? that way i can store the # incase they call. sometimes we ignore assuming that its some Marketing call. please share the details.
