I hope everyone is doing great! Our ECAS changed to Decision Made last November 18th. Hoping to get the husband's Visa next week.

Pretty quiet on here lately. I was updated to decision made on October 28th. Still waiting for something in the mail. Everyday nada, nothing, zilch. My mail box is void of happiness in a brown envelope. I realize it hasn't been that long and my mailing address is in the US. Who else is waiting?

it should be a DHL envelope ? did you send a waybill before?

CIC has been quirky lately. I got my passport request almost three months ago, and then last month got a request for proof of financial support. Then yesterday, out of the blue, my ECAS changes to In Process. Has only been In Process since November 19th. I guess its a good thing I applied for a visitors extension.

Congrats!, u know what, my visa extension approval came 1 day after my passport and COPR..money wasted.. hahaha

Thanks! I figured that it could happen, but $75 for an extension is a lot cheaper than a $600 plane ticket to go home.

Congrats!! The visa offices are all working very hard these days I see, many people have been receiving visas recently. Including my VO (Cairo)

It's great news to hear that even Cairo is moving with the apps. I hope yours comes soon. Vienna has been extremely slow with all of us here waiting. But we do hope the spirit of the holidays to come enlightens them so they may start issuing visas

I hope your wife and baby will arrive there with no problems and will join you for a life full of togetherness. I will have to face the same issue in few months from now because I will land alone and then the wife and our newborn will follow.

Hi Tom!

We are still waiting... Our second medicals were requested about a month ago, and that is the only response we have received since our applications have reached Cairo in May. From what I've heard from other Cairo applicants, it doesn't take long after the second medical for them to contact us regarding an interview...Which I am hopingis exactly how it plays out.

It would be a great holiday gift if the hubby and I were together by New Years.. I also pray that your files also are completed very soon!!

How have you guys been? This thread has been very quiet for the past couple of weeks...
