brother my two prints have already been rejected by FBI. Now i have sent my 3rd set of prints. How did you managed with Visa Officer. I received my PER on Jan 23. Any advice for me to deal with Visa officer in case i get medical /pcc request. Thanks....

Guys,

My suggestion is to go with some private agency which does finger printing, There is very less chance of rejection in this case. At least by what I hear but again there are always the odd ones that get rejected. 8) 8)

I thought only US citizens and pr can go through private agency. I am still waiting for my pcc from FBI which reached their office on Jan 28th. My first set of fingerprints were rejected although it was done by the local police. I have already received request for MR and RFPF on Apr 1st. Any suggestion on how to inform the visa office in SG since I need to submit the docs within 30 days? Thanks.

Same situation. My prints were rejected twice. I sent State PCCs along with proof of 2 rejections and 3rd application for FBI PCC.

Yes, I did and they are now opening Jan 26th letters!!!! Estimated completion date is 12-14 weeks from received date. They said Canadian immigration is aware of the delay.

Just called FBI, my application is processed. They are going to mail on April 8 Wednesday.
My timeline:
Application received by FBI Jan 7. CRedit card charged march 24.

The point about US citizens and green card holders is for the FBI approved channelers, who can fingerprint and issue the PCC. But there are private 'finger-printing only' agencies that anyone can use. I guess the other friend was referring to those.

Mine is a similar case. I submitted the medicals and RPRF, and emailed CIC-Ottawa asking for an extension, which they gave (for another 2 months) in their response (which I got 15 days after my email).

Yeah I guess so. CIC has asked me to submit it by the end of April. First the FBI Report will be mailed to my relatives in the US and then they will send to New Delhi via FeDex so I guess I should be fine. Fingers crossed.

Congrats nepscan...happy ending to a long wait...ours reached on 9th Jan...don't know if the fingerprints got accepted or not...really worried and praying!!!

No tracking is provided. This is again fishy on why it takes more than 3-4 days in USPS. Some folks give their FEDEX account number so that they get it in a day with tracking.
