Hi, Please help me to answer this question.

As per the old list, Accountants are in the list. What about the new list? Is it there or not?

I have 3 years experience as an Accountant and 4 years as Document Controller. Is that included in the head of Professional Occupations in Business Services to Management - NOC 1122, because in the example titles we can see some designations like file manager, filing systems analyst, records filing systems analysts supervisor
records management specialist
records management systems analyst
records manager – business services etc. So the job discription of them and Document Contrller are same.

Please give me a reply and help me to apply for the federal skilled worker programme.

thanks,
As per the new list, Accountants are not in the list

Dear All,
Plz guide me. My real uncle & aunt are Canadian citizens aged 65+. They need some one as personal care taker. How can I go there? (Permanent Residence or any visa leading to it-PR).
Are these options ok:
1) Visiting Homemakers, Housekeepers and Related Occupations OR
2) Live-in Caregiver

What about LMO? I am there Nephew and can well manage to look after them Please suggest me, does this helps LMO chances to be Positive?
Can I connect it to FSW, as I can gain 67 points?

Any thing else, Please suggest me.

Thanks

You mention $490, which relates to permanent residence fee, that is paid by you and your spouse (total $980 for both) upon issuance of the visa (it is stamped in your passport).

I can tell you my friend's case. He submitted all docs to VO and waited for their response. When positive decision was issued, he mailed me his and his spouse's passports and asked to pay the fee (that you mention) and send passports and fee payment cheque to the embassy. Two weeks after or so I got their passports with permanent resident permit stamped (him, spouse and kids stamped in spouse's passport).

Please talk to your consultant and figure out why they ask you to pay this fee upfront, i.e. before VO concludes all steps are complete successfully.

ThThis is not so uncommon. I was asked to send RPRF together with my complete documents the first time I applied. I still have not been refunded (after six months of rejection!) but I hope I will receive it soon. If however my 2nd application comes through I'll just ask whether they can use that amount as RPRF.

Did it specifically say to pay RPRF when you did the whole documents? Many people were sending their RPRF with their documents but didn't know it had asked for it.

@iram1
If you are scoring 67 and above i dont think you will have problems with your IELTS score... as you have Arranged Employment Offer too....

If you dint have AEO and scored 67 points with the above IELTS score.. then maybe it would have been a problem... Use Search function keywords (cook & noc 6242 ) to get more information and discussion regarding your NOC application

Thanks & Regards

Hello Everyone.,

I have just joined the forum today. Didn't find any introduction thread. so, launching it here. Since the day i ve applied for PR, rules kept changing. Now i heard that the applications after June 26th will ve to be sent directly to the CIO rather to the VFO.. I was told that this saves hell of a time.. is that right??

any guesses in how many days/months will the cap for a particular SOL be reached??

16-18 weeks.
It may take longer as experienced by different applicants.

Hope it helps
