We are trying to identify the families to find out what can we do. This apply to all the families that were affected by the change of law from August 2014 to October 2017.

A public policy has already been put in place to allow those affected to sponsor their kids or add them to ongoing apps. Not sure what more you think needs to be done.

Ya I'm not sure what your question or concern is.

This new public policy should answer any and all questions on the topic: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/mandate/policies-operational-instructions-agreements/temporary-public-policy-dependent-children.html

1. The OP's question/statement is probably related to the time when prior to 2014 when the law changed to 18 from 22
and continuously enrolled in school after the age of 22 was dropped. It is quite likely that a few dependents "aged out" before the age of dependency was restored to 22. So they are out of luck. Unless they can persuade the Gov't to enact a retroactive law. Good luck with that.
