Hello Guys, I need an advise/help regarding my wife's situation:
My wife came to Canada in May 2016 on a study permit and completed her studies in Dec 2016. I am a Permanent Resident of Canada, and we filed her PR under spousal sponsorship out land application (New Delhi Office) on Oct 25th 2016. She is currently staying in Canada with me on Post Graduate Work Permit (PGWP), but not working. Her PGWP is getting expired on Sept 29th 2017.
Her PR application status shows that it is under process. We are waiting a Decision Made (DM) on her file as all the formalities are complete from our end.
But, in worst case scenario, if she doesn't get DM before her work permit expires, what is/are the option(s) with us to extend her stay in Canada?
Any advice will be really appreciated!
