Hi everyone!

My Post Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) was not issued for the entire duration of 3 years due to my passport expiry date.

I renewed my passport and was looking for information about extending my PGWP but did not get any concrete information on the IRCC website.

If anyone has already gone through the process, can you please let me know how to apply for the extension? I understand it's a paper-based application but not sure about the forms that need to be filled out and the document that needs to be submitted.

Any information/links will be highly appreciated. Thanks!

PS: My work permit clearly states that it can be renewed for further extensions.

If your passport expires before the full predetermined length of your PGWP, then in order to extend the duration of your PGWP to reach the full length, you will need to extend your work permit by applying for a new work permit with your new passport.
