Hello Guys,

Can any one guide me for obtaining the transcripts.

1. I have done my graduation & PG diploma from Mumbai.

2. I am a graduate in Science from Mithibai college.

3. I have applied for transcripts from Mithibai college & they informed me that all 3 years marksheet transcripts will be obtain from Mithibai college.

4. I have approached Mumbai University & they informed me that you need to get all the 3 years transcripts from your college i.e. Mithibai college & than you have to bring the transcripts copy to Student welfare Churchgate for sealing.... is it correct???

5. Advise me after getting transcripts sealed from Mumbai university i have to register on WES? or is there any form which has to be sent or couriered along with the envelop?

6. I have done my PG diploma from Garware institute (Kalina -Mumbai university).

7. My PG college will be providing me with sealed envelop, so do i have to get it again sealed same as i have done for my graduation.

8. As i am going to apply along with my spouse, do we have to send both our documents under one envelop with one WES application no.?

Pls advise me urgently...

Hi there,
U will get the transcripts from college only.
However, for my process i did not require transcripts to be attested. i have done M.sc from Mumbai university. All they asked was marksheets, grad certificate and convocation certificate(2 copies each in separate envelopes- regular ones, Also write the WES address on the envelope before submitting). Submit these with the upper half of the WES app form filled by you at Churchgate office. Pay the fees. and they will give u the sealed envelope after a month or so. send this envelope to WES for processing your ECA.

Do i have to follow the same process for my PG diploma also?

When shall i register on WES after getting transcripts sealed from Mumbai uni or before sealing the transcripts?

As i am going to apply along with my spouse, do we have to send both our documents under one envelop with one WES application no.?

Register on WES after u get your docs in hand just to play safe. you never know how much time the university might take in returning your envelope. Its generally 30 days.
Same process for PGD as its from Mumbai Univ, all your documents will go in a single envelope for attestation( BSc and PGD) but mention both degrees on seperate WES App forms.
And if your spouse has completed education from Mumbai Univ, you need to have the same process, however different envelopes for both of u, and different WES registration, hence different WES App numbers.

Hi,

It looks clear to me soo far.

But on WES website they have mentioned if you have Bachelors degree than 1st year & 2nd year transcripts needs to be issued from College & 3rd year from Mumbai university.

I had visited my college (Mithibai college) & they told me college gives all 3 years transcripts, later i went to Kalina Mumbai university they informed me that all 3 years transcripts has to be issued from your college & than you have to go to Student welfare Churchgate (mumbai uni) for seal. is it the correct way as it differs from WES process. :-X

Yes, I was also told the same. but the university office agreed to attest even the 1st and 2nd year marksheets, so I went ahead with getting it done from the University itself. Thought it was better that way as the final degree was issued by Mumbai University.
But please note im talking about marksheets here, transcripts are issued by colleges only but WES needs marksheets and degree certificate and convo cert.
