Hi All,

My brother is applying PR through the PNP stream. When filling the express entry profile, we had to answer this question:

"Have you told us about all of XXX relatives"

My brother is claiming me as a relative in Canada. However, we also have an Uncle who is a Canadian too. The problem is there is no option for "Uncle" under the immediate family member. If I answered "NO' for that question, the question won't allow us to save. I believe the question should be "Have you told us about all of XXX intermediate family members" instead of relatives.

Does anyone have a similar experience?

So . . . answer yes, as Uncle obviously does not meet the definition and therefore is not an immediate family member under the section in question.
Right. But the question is asking about "relatives" which is confusing to me :(

It's quite common for words like 'family' 'relatives' to be used by IRCC in ways that don't reflect normal English usage. For example, where you are asked to list all family members whether accompanying or not. The sponsor is surely a family member, but should NOT be listed as requested above, because s/he is not part of the application.
