Please anyone else to confirm that is possible? I have a second retierment plan and I can get the money in 15 days if I want by leaving the company - Can I present this as POF?

You can use retirement funds for PoF. I did and many other people did.

Casadog. I have yet to submit my application but I received confirmation from a reliable source that as long as your declare the Retirement funds as Encumbered funds along with the relevant institutional documentation required by the CIC (..Statement, Bank Letter on official letter head)... you should be fine.

Since the amount of money is equal to the required, why do I have to include Bank statement and letter?

The amount covers the required funds so you don't need to show anything else.

Since the amount was listed in Jamaican dollars, I attached a cover letter explaining that Sagicor was unable to give me a statement for 6 months because the annual report showing that had not yet been generated. I also included a table with the accounts and the conversion to Canadian dollars as per the BOJ exchange rate for that day.

I'm able to check my application with no issue. Sometimes the CIC systems can be a bit buggy or maybe you entered a value incorrectly.

I need help urgently,I submitted my express entry profile with the incorrect NOC and now i received a Profile Ineligible status from CIC,I want to update the form but the site not allowing me to do so.

If your profile is ineligible you have to re-create it, it doesn't allow you to edit so you can become eligible. Strange but a so dem do it.

How would the funds be liquefied? If it's at death then no.

Hello all. A bit of clarification would be greatly appreciated. I completed my express entry profile on July 1 & was accepted into the pool with 407 points . I then got an OOPNP offer to apply for nomination on July 4. Upon filling out the information in the EE profile application, i had indicated that i have some sort of Canadian work qualification as i had applied under the Qualification Certificate Program at the Apprenticeship & Industry Training ( Alberta Enterprise & Advanced Education). This gave me permission to work in Canada & to challenge the exam which would enable me to obtain my Alberta Qualification Certificate.

Only thing is that it expired a day before my EE profile was created.
1) Does this qualify me for "Canadian Work Qualification" under EE criteria?
2) To avoid misrepresentation of facts, i absent mindedly removed that criteria from my EE profile info, thus costing me 50 points. If i renew this assessment by AIT, will i be scrutinized by CIC as "cooking" the points if i re-enter my "Canada Work Certificate" status in the profile?

If it's expired then you don't have a valid certificate. Misrepresentation can lead to a 5 year ban from applying for entry to Canada.

If you have at least 1 year full-time Canadian work experience in NOC 0, A or B then you will get points for that.

Not a thing yet. I check CIC and ECAS like crazy :-\
