Expired PGWP, Restoration Period and 18 Month PGWP Extension Special Measure

Hi Everyone,

My PGWP is expiring in a couple of days and then i will be in 90 day restoration period. I have to stop working due to that.

IRCC hasn't announced anything on the 18 Month PGWP Extension still.

If they announce it soon and I apply for the special measure extension in my restoration period, will i be able to resume working?


P.S Anyone who faced similar issue last time they gave this extension. What happened then?

No progress at all. Don’t know what to do.
