Experts please - Police clearance for India and USA Query

I will be submitting my Express Entry profile in mid January and currently in process of doing WES ECA.

I am currently on visa in US and don’t have long term visibility in US ..depending on IT project….might go back in few months or stay atleast 1 year more. I am thinking if its good idea to start the police verification process now to avoid issues at later stage so below queries came up. Requesting people to respond whatever possible please


1- Could you please post links for Police verification process for India and US ?


I think for India, CKGS agency can’t do but only Indian embassy does this.


2- How long is the police clearance certificates valid for both India and USA ?


3- In my case – If I start process for India now and go back after 2-3 months after receiving the report or while in process – in both scenarios do I need to start the process again for police clearance before I submit to CIC ?



4- Also for US – if I leave the country after receiving reort or in process, would my report be still valid to submit to CIC ?

2. If you are in India, you will get in on the same day. Not sure about how many days it will take if you're outside India.

3. It's better to do it after you receive an ITA.

If you leave US and do not enter again and your US PCC is valid, then I believe you wouldn't need another one.
