Expenses!!

Hi there everyone!

Can anyone gimme a rough idea about the expenses a single person would incur a month assuming he leads a very simple life without no lavish lifestyles and extravagant expenditure? This should cover the basic necessities such as rent for a 1 bedromm flat, foodstuffs, telephone & internet and some surplus for travel. Thats it!

I would appreciate if you elaborate a bit on this.

in case you want to live in Toronto and with regards to this question, your rent could vary between 750$ (a studio or a shared accomodation or a small room but with your own bathroom etc) to let's say $900 or a bit more if you want to have a nicely sized apartment in let's say Mississauga, then you will be just fine with like $1250 a month for rent + food + tv/internet/wireless + subway pass + other basic necessities, maybe a bit more or less than this, but in Toronto, it won't be less than $1000 for one person for sure.
