Employer specific permit at port of entry

Hi there,

I'm looking for information about applying for an employer specific work permit at a port of entry.
All work documents, job offer, contract, proof it's unionized, Lima info has been obtained and/or been submitted to the employment portal on the IRC website.
My employers and I are planning to go to a port of entry in a few days to get me an employment specific work permit.
I am currently in Canada (from the Uk originally) and have been here for just over 5 months on a visitors visa.
I've also applied for PR which the immigration office will have received a few weeks ago.
I want to ask about documentation I may be asked for at the port of entry?
Obviously I have my passport and all work documents but was wondering specifically about whether they would ask for a police certificate and/or medical examination results?
As I mentioned I've applied for PR and already submitted a police report with it but wanted to check if an immigration officer would demand any documents like that at the port of entry that would stop me getting my permit?

Many thanks
